Working with non-profit social enterprise partners, we connect investors with clean-energy projects to implement solar and other green retrofits on buildings owned by First Nations, faith communities and non-profits.

Newo is the Alberta ambassador for a program that aims to help the United Church of Canada reduce carbon emissions from church buildings by 80 percent by 2050 through energy-efficient retrofit.

A key driver for Newo’s solar work is to address marginalized community members’ need for steady employment, With that in mind, we aim to train and ultimately hire people with barriers to employment.
